It actually allows you to type in how many digits you plan to memorize at a given moment. Another way to get the numbers down is to make each one relate to you in some way. For example: 3- How many sisters you have, 1- Your husband/wife, 4- your collective family. When you make the numbers actually mean something the memorization is simple!

The current world record for digits of pie recited is 67,890. Even so, 100 digits memorized is a great accomplishment. Aim for what you are satisfied with!
